The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, staffed by board-certified medical and dental providers, is dedicated to patient-centered healthcare in the practice of treating defects and injuries of the head, neck, face, and oral cavity. It is our mission to provide our patients with highly advanced, evidence-based care utilizing the safe and innovative, high-quality treatment plans.
Likith V. Reddy, DDS, MD, FACS
Clinical Professor and Department HeadDr. Reddy is a Professor at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry and School of Medicine as well as the Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center. A Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Reddy holds Fellowship titles with the American College of Dentistry and American College of Surgery and is internationally recognized for his pioneering development of a minimally invasive eyelid-based approach to brain access. Specializing in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Dr. Reddy also treats patients with traumatic facial injuries, facial birth defects and tumors, with a strong focus in Orthognathic surgery and complex craniofacial & dental implants. His significant research has secured funding in the development in cutting edge surgical technology with extensive publications in scientific journals and textbook chapters on subjects such as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, and Neurosurgery.
