“EXCELLENCE IN DENTAL CARE FOR ALL WHO COME TO US IN TRUST”
Our students don’t just learn what’s in the curriculum, they learn how to tackle the toughest tasks in modern dentistry. Through constant dialog with practicing dentists across the country, Texas A&M College of Dentistry’s AEGD program expands its training to meet the need for clinical professionals who can also adapt to changes in technology and economic conditions.
Professional Leadership
Our residents are fully committed to mastering all aspects of dentistry, including specialty care, and to model professionalism and ethics in every interaction with patients and peers. They will be dedicated to lifelong learning and are expected to complete far more continuing dental education course hours than most programs.
Practice Leadership
Our residents are expected to be able to lead any practice team and provide expert guidance for associate dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and office staff. They will be able to maintain a high level of professional excellence in the technological and financial management of a practice.
Community Leadership
Our graduates will have the expertise to build a business that’s a trusted name in the local community, and can be trusted to improve the health of the entire community, not just their oral health.
confidence & character
Applicants for our residency program aren’t satisfied with being a good dentist. They’re searching for a place where they can gain confidence in their work, and build the kind of character in themselves that they can’t find anywhere else - something that is part of our DNA at Texas A&M. Rooted in the Aggie Core Values, we prepare graduates to achieve excellence every day, and to make a positive, life-altering change in our patients’ overall health.
