Submission Requirements
To be considered for an interview, candidates must submit their applications through ADEA PASS. To do so, you must have the following documents:
- Current Curriculum Vitae
- Dental School Transcript
- Exam Scores
- Personal Statement
- Dean’s Letter
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Recent Photo (though not required, helpful to the programs during interviews)
2026 U.S. Dental Match Summary
Overall, 1982 positions (87%) were filled in the 2026 Dental Match. The applicant pool, as measured by the number of applicants who submitted Rank Order Lists, increased by 2.8% while the number of positions offered decreased by 3.1%. These changes resulted in a decrease of 16.4% in the number of unfilled positions and an increase of 9% in unmatched applicants. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery programs saw modest increases in positions offered.

How many spots do you have?
3 MD/1 Certificate (available only to active military personnel)
When is the application deadline?
October 1, with program leadership reviewing applications in late September
When are interviews?
All interviews are in-person, over two days, and within the first two weeks of December.
How will I know if I’m selected to interview?
The OMS Residency Program will communicate through ADEA PASS system.
Do you accept or sponsor training visas?
No
Do residents participate in research?
Yes. All graduates must participate in a scholarly project and advanced research opportunities are also available for those who seek it out
