Program Overview
Texas A&M College of Dentistry proudly serves as one of two OMS residency programs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and is home to an elite faculty whose contributions to and expertise in the profession and are highly sought after.
The first 18 months of training for our advanced standing medical students serves to establish a broad foundation of knowledge across a variety of medical specialties including general surgery, internal medicine, OBGYN, pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, emergency medicine, and critical care.
To be considered for an interview, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery candidates must submit their applications and all required documentation through the American Dental Education Association’s ADEA PASS, the central hub for post-graduate dental education.

6-year residents have two different employers: Texas A&M College of Dentistry in the first three years and Baylor University Medical Center (a subsidiary of Baylor Scott & White Health) in the later three years.
